I Can’t Stop Smiling

“Before I was referred, I was a bit of a mess. My teeth were in very bad shape. I wasn’t able to eat
properly and it affected everything about how I behaved in my life. I sort of became homebound. I needed help and Dr. Gurney gave me the confidence that I could accomplish what I wanted to accomplish. He made me feel very, very secure with my choice and it was important to me to not only because I have this beautiful smile but for other reasons it affected every aspect of my life. I felt very comfortable after talking to Dr. Gurney that I could maybe give my life back a little bit my life has changed tremendously.

I no longer stay inside. I don’t hide behind things. I can talk to my friends again without worry and I have just actually started really enjoying myself. I have a lot of things here that I can enjoy and I’m not afraid to go out. I can’t stop smiling. I can eat which is really pretty incredible. I can’t tell you I haven’t had cashews for like 15 years and now I can. Just the little things gives me a lot more confidence and actually I feel terrific. It’s just shocking on how much better my life has has become.”
