Like a Facelift for Me

“I lost all my teeth when I was 16, so I wore dentures for about 20 years and found out that, ‘Okay, we can’t realign your dentures anymore,’ and so I was like, ‘Okay, well, what are we going to do?’ and they told me and I was like, ‘This is bizarre.’ I mean, I didn’t have any bone left. They took bone out of my hip, layered it in, got it all ready to go, sent me away, came back, put the screws in, and I had my first set of implants and I thought, ‘I’m in heaven,’ because I’m not going to have to worry about this anymore.

After wearing dentures for 20 years, it made my lips go away, made my smile go away, and it was hard to do. Dr. Chris was able to bring my teeth out to a point to where I could get my upper lip back and that just that made all the difference. It was like a face lift for me, so I was like, ‘Yay!’

From the receptionist to financial, everybody has just been really supportive and making sure, you know, you need something to eat, you need something to drink, because it’s a process. But they’ve always been very friendly, outgoing, and glad to see me. [They] call me by name, so I always feel good about that when I walk in the door.”
